Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Shopify Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionalities of Shopify stores, working extensively with Shopify APIs, Liquid, and server-side integrations. You will collaborate with our team to build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions that enhance overall store performance and functionality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid for data manipulation and backend logic. (Mandatory)
• Solid experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and webhooks. (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Node.js or PHP for backend development and custom app creation.
• Understanding of GraphQL for managing and querying Shopify data efficiently.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals for server-side and API-related tasks.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, automation workflows, and custom backend modules.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Basic familiarity with frontend (HTML/CSS/React.js) is a plus but not mandatory.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the backend architecture of Shopify stores.
• Build custom Shopify apps, automation tools, and integrations using APIs and webhooks.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
• Integrate third-party services to extend store functionalities.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Shopify applications.
• Collaborate with the design and frontend team to ensure seamless feature implementation.
• Perform regular code reviews and contribute to backend best practices.
• Stay updated with Shopify backend technologies, API upgrades, and emerging trends.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
