Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lab to Dip Preparation:

Develop lab dip samples as per buyer or internal requirements.
Prepare dye recipes and conduct small-scale dyeing trials to achieve target shades.

Lab to Bulk Transition:

Transfer approved lab dye recipes to bulk production.
Ensure reproducibility of lab results in bulk dyeing by standardizing process parameters.

Color & Shade Matching:

Perform visual and instrumental color matching using a spectrophotometer or light box.
Adjust formulations to achieve exact shade matching under different light sources.

Quality Control:

Check color fastness, shade variation, and appearance before bulk approval.
Maintain consistency between batches and provide technical support to the production team.

Documentation & Reporting:

Record all test results, recipes, and shade approvals systematically.
Maintain lab dip library and shade continuity reports.

Coordination:

Communicate with production, planning, and merchandising teams regarding color approvals and status updates.
