Job Title: Shift Incharge – Edible Oil Refinery

Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat
Department: Production / Operations
Reports To: Production Manager / Refinery Head
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in edible oil refinery operations
Salary Range: Up to ₹65,000/month (Negotiable based on experience)
Interview Mode: Personal interview preferred at Gandhidham

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage refinery shift operations in an edible oil plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and smooth processing while maintaining quality standards and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift activities in the edible oil refining plant (Neutralization, Bleaching, Deodorization, etc.)
• Ensure proper operation of equipment and utilities during the shift
• Monitor critical process parameters and take corrective actions as needed
• Coordinate manpower and allocate responsibilities for smooth production flow
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain shift logs, reports, and production data
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to resolve issues
• Train and guide operators and junior staff on SOPs and safety practices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical/Production Engineering
• Experience: 4+ years in edible oil refinery
• Skills:
• Knowledge of refining processes (BLEACHING, DEODORIZATION, NEUTRALIZATION)
• Shift management and team handling
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Good documentation and reporting ability
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP, and safety compliance
