Position Name: Shift Engineer - Electrical Maintenance Department: Central technical service Qualification: Diploma in Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering- Electrical Experience: Bachelor / Diploma of Engineering 3-4 Years with Electrical supervisor Licence from PWD department/ Government Authority. Hands on Experience in operations and Maintenance of 220/22 KV High voltage electrical distribution Location: Chakan , Pune Reporting to: Lead- Electrical Maintenance Purpose of the Position: Operation & Maintenance of all 220KV/22KV/400V Electrical system. ( HT, LT, DG set, UPS, VFD) Attend Utility equipment breakdowns such as air compressor, chillers, HWG, HVAC to avoid production downtime. Working in shifts for planning & execution of PM, Breakdowns & Predictive maintenance. Co-ordination with customer for resolution of complaints. To support production, during shifts by managing electrical system related to Utility. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance as per schedule. Efficient operation of all equipment Ensure Uptime of equipment by timely maintenance. Reduce repair/maintenance time. Attend malfunction in least possible time. Identifying energy saving resources & execution of the same. Ensure safety and 5s at workplace. Skills Required: Critical, Technical And Behavioral Skills Must have electrical supervisor Licence from Government agency, PWD Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of high voltage 220 KV/22 KV Power distribution transformers, Lighting panels, Motor starters and its safety Interlocks. Knowledge of Operation and maintenance of Transformers, Bus bar power distribution system, Protection Systems, DG sets, Circuit Breakers and its trouble shooting. Good knowledge and skill in reading the electrical circuit diagrams, interlocks and logics. Maintenance of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), soft starter, Earthing System, Lightning Arrestors system. Awareness about various maintenance techniques and philosophies such as preventive , predictive maintenance, 5S,TPM & electrical safety etc. Awareness about quality and environment, energy management system, OHSMS (45001) and safety requirements. Analytical skills, PDCA & Problem Solving Skills. Knowledge of Energy efficient operations, saving ideas generation and implementation Good communication skills. Motivation and Team driving spirit Key Responsibilities & Tasks: Ensure that equipment run with highest efficiency by following standard SOP and guidelines. Ensure all Utility Services are available round the clock by starting & stopping of equipment's as per requirement. Priorities the complaints and resolve in least time, manpower planning for routine maintenance activity Arrange resources such as manpower & material from Stores for Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance Updating of PM Observation, records, checklist and history cards time to time in CMMS software. Daily Report generation of utility equipment's, electrical energy consumption reports etc Execute Preventive, predictive maintenance plan as per schedule. Maintaining healthiness of Cherry picker and Jaldoot access platform. Maintain earth pit, lighting arrestor as per IS standard Numerical relay healthiness checking. BBS observations during Preventive Maintenance & Routine Activities Carry out various improvements in order to improve work environment, reduce cost, time and improve efficiency. Corrective And Preventive Action (CAPA) for repeated problems Analyze records/ log books of equipment and take immediate corrective action Monitor KPI of assigned areas and ensure that desired targets are achieved by immediate Corrective actions Monitoring-220 KV / 22KV voltage system, power factor, harmonics, UPS system, Battery system, and corrective action for observation. Thermography for electrical panel and corrective action on observation Issue of various Safety Work permit for day-to-day jobs in co-ordination with safety department & vendors. Guide outsourced/ in-house team in resolving breakdown and complaints. Co-ordination with users and other department for resolution of complaints and PM activity. Co-ordination with third party during implementing AMC visit/ Health checkup and confirmation of activity completion.
