Shift Chemist

Arjuna Natural Private Limited has been India’s leading manufacturer and exporter of standardized botanical extracts for the nutraceutical industry for over three decades. Established in 1989, the company has grown in epic proportions with customers in around 65 countries and has several international patents to its credit, of which the majority are commercialized globally.

At this pivotal stage, the Management is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join us as Shift Chemists, contributing their technical expertise, precision, and dedication to help us achieve our goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HPLC Analysis

• Operate and maintain multiple HPLC systems for assay analysis of Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), Finished Goods (FG), and R&D samples
• Conduct HPLC analysis using DAD (Diode Array Detector) and FLD (Fluorescence Detector) for PAH analysis

FTNIR Analysis

• Calibrate and operate FTNIR instruments for solvent and oil testing

GC Analysis

• Perform Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis during shift operations

Daily Sample Analysis

• Conduct in-process sample testing and R&D sample analysis during shift operations

Analytical Support

• Provide analytical support for plant trials and R&D activities during shift operations

Raw Material & Spent Sample Testing

• Execute Total Extractive Analysis of Raw Materials (RM) and spent samples

Interdivisional Sample Management

• Manage packing, dispatch and log entry of interdivisional sample.

Quality Control Documentation

• Maintain calibration records for HPLC systems and general QC instruments
• Ensure all analytical data and records are accurately maintained and compliant with QC procedures

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic / Applied Chemistry preferred)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control within a chemical, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industry
• Hands-on experience in analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, and FTNIR
• Strong understanding of analytical methods, calibration, and documentation practices
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standards
• Excellent observation, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment
