The Instrumentation Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of instrumentation systems within the plant. At Birla Cellulosic, Kharach, a prominent player in the Pulp & Fibre industry, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and solutions while upholding innovation and sustainability. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining safety practices, including PTW, JSA, TBT, and behavior-based safety measures. Your expertise with technologies such as Yokogawa DCS system, Profibus, Fieldbus Foundation communication protocol, as well as PLC systems like Siemens and Allen Bradley, will be vital in fulfilling your responsibilities. Your primary duties will encompass the upkeep of various instrumentation components such as control valves, ON-OFF valves, and flow meters. The role will involve planning, scheduling, and executing preventive maintenance tasks along with overseeing annual shutdowns. Troubleshooting skills, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), effective communication, and the ability to handle emergencies while efficiently managing manpower are essential attributes for excelling in this position. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field. A solid understanding of safety practices, familiarity with the mentioned technologies, hands-on experience in instrumentation maintenance, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are prerequisites for this position.
