Job Purpose Create original designs and patterns for a variety of textiles Develop and present design concepts and prototypes Review and provide feedback on fabric samples Maintain a portfolio of completed designs and projects Mandatory Skills Proficiency in design software such as Textronics/TEXCAD/Penelope CAD programs. Experience with 3D mapping Design Software Strong understanding of color theory and color matching Experience with various textile production techniques Fabric analysis of textiles manually – Count/Construction/Blend Strong understanding of the textile production process Excel PowerPoint Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively Show more Show less
