ServiceNow Lead Developer

As a highly experienced and skilled ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and best practices. In this key role, you will lead technical teams, manage project lifecycles, collaborate with business stakeholders, and provide expert guidance on the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities. Your main responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of junior developers, providing technical guidance, and fostering their growth. You will engage proficiently with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver effective ServiceNow enhancements. Additionally, you will expertly design and implement multiple catalog items in collaboration with business stakeholders and drive the integration of large enterprise systems using various APIs. To excel in this role, you must possess strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Glide APIs, server-side and client-side scripting, Scripted REST APIs, and portal architecture. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences. A detail-oriented approach, proactive issue identification, and problem-solving skills are also crucial for successful project delivery. Your qualifications should include a total of 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development exposure. A proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams is required, along with a Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification and an additional ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification. Additionally, work experience with large BioPharma/Biotech industries and knowledge of GxP processes would be desirable qualifications for this role.
