Servicenow Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform to streamline IT service management (ITSM) processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, workflow automation, and integration with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Jelly, AngularJS, and other scripting languages.
  
• Customize and enhance ITSM applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
  
• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and catalog items to automate business processes.
  
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise applications and data sources using REST, SOAP, JDBC, or other APIs.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow customizations and applications.
  
• Maintain and optimize ServiceNow performance and ensure platform security compliance.
  
• Document development processes, configurations, and technical specifications.
  
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for the ServiceNow platform.
  
• Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and customization.
  
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
  
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  
• Understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow API integrations (REST, SOAP).
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant certifications.
  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles within the ServiceNow platform.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
