A Business Process Consultant for ServiceNow ITSM analyzes and redesigns IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to align with ITIL best practices and ServiceNow platform capabilities. Key responsibilities include leading workshops, gathering requirements, documenting future-state processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and drive efficiency. A strong candidate will have experience in ITIL, process mapping, and ServiceNow, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Process Analysis: Assess current ITSM processes, identify gaps, and document existing workflows.• Solution Design: Design future-state processes and solutions, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and business goals.• Requirement Gathering: Lead workshops and interviews with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirement workbooks, process flows, and functional specifications.• Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, supporting implementation and testing phases.• Best Practice Advocacy: Champion configuration over customization and provide guidance on ITSM and ServiceNow best practices.• Continuous Improvement: Monitor process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.• Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support adoption of the new processes and platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and process consulting.• Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM modules, with a focus on configuration and out-of-the-box capabilities.• Methodologies: Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices.• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.• Communication: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.• Project Management: Experience with project management, including an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is often required.• Certifications: ITIL Foundation or higher certification is often required. "
