We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead / Senior Developer to lead development efforts, mentor junior team members, and deliver robust and scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This is a dual role combining technical leadership with hands-on development, ideal for professionals who thrive on end-to-end ownership of platform enhancements and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications
7–10 years of total IT experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development
Strong experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, HRSD Proven ability to lead module/component delivery with hands-on expertise
Proficiency in scripting, configuration, customization, and third-party API integrations
Exposure to AI/ML-based solutions or Agentic AI within the ServiceNow ecosystem is a plus
Strong understanding of development standards, release management, and code optimization
Ability to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications Experience in mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD) preferred
Job Responsibilities
Act as a senior developer and deliver high-velocity, high-quality development on the ServiceNow platform
Lead configuration, customization, and development of ServiceNow applications/modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) Own and manage the delivery of specific modules or components on assigned projects
Convert functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide accurate effort estimates
Serve as the go-to person for technical issues and troubleshooting across ongoing ServiceNow initiatives
Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and clients to ensure solution alignment
Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and optimize application performance
Develop and manage integrations with third-party systems and APIs
Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in ServiceNow development and deployment
Contribute to platform innovation by identifying gaps and suggesting improvements
Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation
Act as a backup to the Solution Architect in supporting design and other architectural tasks
Experience with or interest in AI-driven ServiceNow solutions is desirable
