Job Summary:

Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission new pump systems as per API standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance and execute repairs on API 675 & API 676 pumps.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; repair & replace components.
Perform precision alignment & balancing of rotating equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
Provide technical support & training to customers.
Ensure adherence to
safety protocols & API compliance
.
Be available for
on-call service and emergency repairs
with travel as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial field (preferred).
Experience:
57 years in service/maintenance of industrial pumps & rotating equipment.
Direct experience with
API 675/676 pumps
is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical).
Ability to read & interpret technical schematics/manuals.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools (multimeter, pressure gauges, laser alignment).
Good communication, time management & customer handling skills.
Physically fit to work in demanding industrial environments.
Valid driving license.

Work Environment:

Frequent travel to
customer sites
(industrial plants/refineries).
Exposure to weather, noise, and industrial hazards.
Mandatory use of PPE.
