Job Description – Solar Project Engineer

Experience Required: 1 Year to 3 Year

SALARY - 20K to 30K + ESI

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning:

Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems (rooftop and ground-mounted)

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical components

• Technical Reporting:

Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and performance summaries for client and internal review

• Customer Support:

Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues

• Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, electrical codes, and company standards

• Field Visits:

Travel to client sites for service calls, inspections, and emergency support as required

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of solar PV technology and electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with tools, testing equipment, and inverter configuration
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi
• Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel and work in field conditions

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• Solar PV Installer Certification (e.g., Suryamitra, NISE)
• Electrical Safety or Energy Auditor credentials

Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical safety standards
• Familiarity with grid-tied and off-grid systems preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
