Service Engineer - Pan India

• Carry out

  installation, commissioning, and field service support

  for EV dump trucks at customer and project sites
• Diagnose and rectify issues related to

  electric powertrain, battery systems, motor, controller, inverter, and auxiliaries

• Perform

  preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

  to ensure maximum vehicle uptime
• Support

  HV systems (high-voltage safety, isolation checks, fault codes, and software diagnostics)

• Coordinate with

  R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams

  to resolve recurring field issues
• Handle

  warranty claims

  , service reports, and root cause analysis (RCA) with corrective actions
• Train

  dealer technicians and customer maintenance teams

  on EV systems and safety practices
• Monitor vehicle performance data and support

  remote diagnostics / telematics-based troubleshooting

• Ensure compliance with

  EV safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements

• Support

  new product trials, field validation, and pilot deployments

  of EV dump trucks
• Maintain service documentation, checklists, and service history records
  
• Provide

  on-site customer support

  to improve satisfaction and long-term service relationships

Must-Have Skills

• Experience in

  EV commercial vehicles / electric powertrain service

• Strong knowledge of

  battery packs (Li-ion), BMS, motors, controllers, and HV architecture

• Hands-on experience with

  diagnostic tools, fault codes, and electrical schematics

• Understanding of

  CAN, telematics, and basic software flashing / updates

• Willingness to travel extensively to

  mines, construction sites, and remote locations

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in

  dump trucks, tippers, mining or construction equipment

• Knowledge of

  thermal management systems and charging infrastructure

• Exposure to

  ISO / safety standards related to EVs

• Basic understanding of

  data logs and performance analytics

• Customer training and dealer support experience
  

Education & Experience

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

• 2–5 years

  of service experience (EV experience preferred; ICE to EV transition acceptable with training)
