Job Title: Service Engineer – Mechanical/Electrical Location: Mohali Department: Service & Maintenance Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to provide installation, maintenance, and technical support for our products and systems at Office & client locations. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of equipment. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and test mechanical/electrical systems and equipment at client sites. Diagnose and repair equipment faults and breakdowns. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with service schedules. Provide remote or on-site technical support to customers. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Train customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams for feedback and product improvement. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures during all service activities. Travel to customer sites as needed (local or international). Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in a service engineering or maintenance role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, or automation (as applicable). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Good problem-solving skills and hands-on technical aptitude. Willingness to travel and work independently on-site. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office and service reporting tools. Preferred: Experience in industries such as electronics manufacturing, automation, HVAC, energy, or heavy equipment. Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
