Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV, telecom, AV, access control, and ID card systems. Handled troubleshooting, preventive/corrective maintenance, and system integration across networks. Delivered technical support, customer training, and documentation. Identified cross selling and upselling opportunities, generated leads, collected references, and collaborated with the sales team for lead conversion and revenue growth.

Responsibilities :

1. Installation & Commissioning

  • Install, configure, and commission of All products
  • Conduct functional testing, verification, and performance checks to ensure successful commissioning as per standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams for site readiness, technical rollouts, and smooth deployment of new projects or system upgrades.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and ensure reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults related to Company products service and systems.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, provide on-site and remote support, and maintain service tools, spares, and technical documentation.

3. Technical Support & Customer Service

  • Deliver timely technical support with clear communication to customers during issue resolution.
  • Provide follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues, service history, repairs, and configurations in CRM/service tools.

4. Customer Training & Demonstration

  • Conduct product demonstrations and hands-on training for clients, end-users, and technical staff.
  • Train customers on system usage, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting to reduce post-installation support needs.
  • Build strong customer confidence in products and services.

5. Networking & System Integration

  • Configure and support IP addressing schemes, TCP/IP protocols, and network-based system integrations.
  • Ensure compatibility and seamless integration of surveillance, telecom, and AV systems with existing infrastructure.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain installation checklists, service reports, technical logs, and client feedback.
  • Share insights on recurring technical issues and user challenges to improve service efficiency.

7. Customer Satisfaction & Testimonials

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing quality service and timely support.
  • Collect testimonials (written/Videos), references, and feedback from clients to support company credibility and future projects.

8. Business Growth & Revenue Support

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities during service visits (e.g., AMC, product upgrades, accessories, training packages, extended warranties).
  • Generate leads by understanding customer needs and challenges, collect client references, and report leads to the manager.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support lead conversion into confirmed sales and contribute to revenue generation.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills /Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, telecom, AV, and access control systems.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, networking, and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in project teams and independently on service calls.
  • Customer-oriented with a proactive approach to cross-selling and lead generation.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of networking and display interfaces (HDMI, LAN, USB, etc.).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skill.
  • CCTV Installation & Maintenance (Analog, IP, hybrid)

Required Education / Experience:

  • Diploma or bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related technical field.
