Service Engineer- EOT Crane

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Service Engineer to handle field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EOT cranes and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel for on-site support and have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Territory: Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat

Key Responsibilities:Installation & Commissioning:

• Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of EOT cranes at client sites.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful handover.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of cranes as per schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as motors, brakes, limit switches, VFDs, contactors, etc.

Customer Support:

• Provide on-site and remote support to customers for breakdowns or service queries.
• Educate client operators and maintenance staff on crane operation and safety.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain service reports, job sheets, and maintenance logs for all visits.
• Provide feedback to design and production teams based on field observations.
• Ensure timely completion of warranty and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in the EOT crane or heavy machinery service industry.
• Good knowledge of crane control panels, electrical circuits, motors, brakes, etc.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot PLC/VFD systems (basic).
• Strong communication and customer handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for service calls across India.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
