Dear candidate,
We have an urgent opening for Electrical /Mechanical Engineer , Bawal Location.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer with 1-5 years experience in handling Warranty and Overhauling work for Traction motors used in electric locomotives or metro trains or EMUs or mining equipment. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Traction Motors both on-site and in workshop environments.
Attending on-site Warranty / Overhauling visits, installations, and commissioning at customer locations for Electrical or Mechanical Items.
Generate and maintain technical service reports, test documentation, and Warranty / Installation / Overhauling records.
Provide technical feedback to design, R&D, and quality departments for continuous product improvement.
Knowledge of Warranty portal of IR (IREPS).
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics and quality department) for Warranty replacements and overhauling schedules.
Support customer training and provide technical support when required.
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
15 years of hands-on experience in servicing or maintenance.
Familiarity with Railway / Metro system.
Ability to read and interpret technical Drawings, Specifications, and Service or Overhauling manuals
