Dear Candidate, We have an urgent opening for Metro Project - OHSE/Safety manager (Chennai) Qualification Brief Roles & Responsibilities : Monitoring safety system, standard & implementation of projects contractors of metro (Civil, Finishing, Track & Depot). Attend OHS&E Committee meetings with Contractor Senior Management. Preparation of Contractor Surveillance Report, Safety Inspection Report, Non-conformance Report and Daily Activity Report as per Employer requirement. Prepare Monthly Progress Report for client review & record and support in conducting external HSE audits for projects. Verify OHS documents, Work permits, Plant, Machinery Documents and visit of constructions site Monitoring and budgeting the Project site work on a continuous basis, making on-the-spot correction of unsafe acts of the workmen, which are observed, and taking suitable steps to eliminate all the unsafe conditions observed. Planning the requirement of first aid, firefighting and safety appliances as the works progress. Providing induction programs for all the staff and workmen on their arrival at site. Education profile: B Tech Electrical / Electronics degree from a reputed college, Diploma in HSE (Health safety & environment) Overall Experience Exp - 12+ years Experience in HSE Salary: 12 to 14 LPA, Based on qualification and experience.
