Job Description

Installation Technicians are responsible for ensuring proper and timely installation of systems and devices for State Transport Corporation. An Installation Technician often performs several tasks within a single service call and handles all aspects of the installation process. Some important Installation Technician job duties and responsibilities include: • Traveling to depot for device installations • Responsible for drilling, wiring and installation of VTS & Panic button under TAT • Determining if additional electrical assistance is required • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated • Documenting all tasks performed at each service appointment • Testing functionality and performance following system installations Requirements: • ITI in Electrician or Auto Mechanical Trade is preferred. • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel. • Excellent active listening and customer service skills. • The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed. • The ability to remain professional under pressure. • Superb work ethic and a growth mindset.
