We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Equipment Service Engineer to provide expert technical support for our range of arterial blood gas (ABG) analyzers. This field-based role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres across Delhi and the Delhi NCR region. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, a customer-centric approach, and a solid background in biomedical or electronics engineering
Key Responsibilities
· Installation and commissioning: Install and calibrate new ABG machines at client sites, ensuring they are fully functional and ready for use.
· Preventive maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment.
· Corrective maintenance and repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and disruption for clients.
· Technical support and training: Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to healthcare staff. Conduct training sessions for users on the correct operation and routine care of the ABG machines.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service activities, including installation reports, PM checklists, and breakdown repairs.
· Customer satisfaction: Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, ensuring their service requests are addressed promptly and effectively, and that customer satisfaction is maintained.
· Inventory management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for servicing equipment.
· Compliance: Ensure all service activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and healthcare safety regulations.
· Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support product installations and address any post-sales technical issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
· Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience servicing medical equipment, with specific experience on ABG analyzers being a significant advantage.
· Technical skills:
· Strong knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools.
· Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with hospital staff and other clients.
· Work ethic:
· Self-motivated and able to work independently to manage a service schedule.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to technical issues.
· Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Delhi and Delhi NCR region. A valid driver's license and personal conveyance are preferred.
· Location: Based in Delhi or the Delhi NCR region, Bangalore and Jaipur with a strong understanding of the local market's healthcare landscape.
