Service Desk Engineer

The EUS TSG Specialist role involves providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of applications, network, and security systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting software and application issues, managing service tickets, and addressing user queries related to IT. Your key responsibilities will include: Application Support: - Offering expert support for Windows and Ubuntu applications. - Diagnosing and resolving issues with MS Office, Outlook, email, and other critical business applications. Network and Security Management: - Handling network troubleshooting, connectivity issues, and basic configurations. - Ensuring compliance with security protocols and assisting in managing security incidents. Ticket Management: - Logging, updating, and closing service tickets in the Service Desk. - Documenting troubleshooting processes and ensuring timely ticket resolution. - Escalating complex issues to appropriate teams as needed. Communication and Reporting: - Responding to user queries via email with clear and effective communication. - Generating reports on ticket status, network problems, and security incidents. - Managing IT service-related expenses in the CRM system. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Windows and Ubuntu operating systems and applications. - Strong troubleshooting skills with MS Office, Outlook, and other email applications. - Sound knowledge of network fundamentals and security practices. - Experience with ticket management systems and CRM software. - Excellent written communication skills.
