Service Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Service Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position requires strong administrative skills, program management experience, and a passion for supporting individuals in achieving their goals. The Service Coordinator will work closely with clients, families, and service providers to ensure effective service delivery and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring that their needs are met effectively.
• Develop and manage individualized service plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Supervise staff involved in service delivery, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and communication.
• Monitor program budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds while maintaining service quality.
• Conduct regular assessments of client progress and adjust service plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in service coordination and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within social work or behavioral health settings.
• Strong program development and management skills, with the ability to implement effective strategies for client support.
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers, demonstrating leadership qualities and team-building abilities.
• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes related to program management is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• A background in social work or behavioral health is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
