Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a customer-focused and technically sound Service Advisor to act as the liaison between our customers and the workshop team. The ideal candidate will manage service bookings, understand customer concerns, explain repair needs, and ensure a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Handling:

  • Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle service requirements.
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
  • Explain service details, additional repair recommendations, and warranty coverage.

Job Card Management:

  • Open job cards and ensure all customer concerns are documented clearly.
  • Coordinate with the workshop floor supervisor/technicians for repair status updates.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion and delivery.

Workshop Coordination:

  • Act as a bridge between customers and technicians to ensure clarity of work.
  • Ensure parts availability and coordinate with inventory if required.
  • Perform quality checks before vehicle delivery.

Follow-up & Customer Satisfaction:

  • Keep customers informed of delays or additional repair requirements.
  • Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain records of service bookings, invoices, feedback, and repeat repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer service guidelines and standards.
  • Assist in meeting monthly service targets and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) goals.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a 4-wheeler dealership or authorized service center.
  • Good technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with DMS (Dealer Management System) and CRM tools.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience with brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Toyota, etc.
  • Knowledge of service process audits and warranty procedures.
  • Local language proficiency and basic English skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,278.80 - ₹27,896.86 per month
