Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server Administrator to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, ensuring smooth and secure operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments, virtualization technologies, and network infrastructure management. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Perform server backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery operations.
• Monitor system performance, resource usage, and logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to operating systems and administrative tools regularly.
• Manage and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones and cultures.
• Configure and maintain various server components and services to support business applications.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Windows Server installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux server distributions and command-line operations.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with network infrastructure management (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ability to perform system backups and disaster recovery tasks.
• Experience applying OS patches, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of independent experience in server management and administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shift (whenever needed).
