Job Description

Who are we looking for?

L3 resource with strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration, SQL and network fundamentals

Technical Skills:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for packaged software applications (on-premises and SaaS).
  • Install, configure, and maintain on-premises applications and supporting infrastructure.
  • Administer SaaS applications, including configuration, integration, and role-based access control in alignment with Enterprise app requirements TRC, ISO, Architecture etc.
  • Monitor application performance and availability; conduct root cause analysis and resolve incidents.
  • Support integrations with enterprise systems and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Coordinate vendor support escalation for issue resolution.
  • Manage application upgrades, configuration changes, patches, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, regulatory, and data protection standards.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for supported systems.
  • Participate in change management and release management processes.

Core Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and reporting (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS.
  • Experience with identity and access management: Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, SAML, OAuth.
  • Familiarity with application and web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret application and system logs (Splunk, ELK, native logs).

SaaS Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-hosted platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Administration of SaaS applications through vendor portals.
  • Understanding of multi-tenant architectures and vendor-managed updates.
  • Integration with enterprise platforms (e.g. , Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Soft Skills:

  • Installation, configuration, and patch management of packaged applications.
  • Experience with backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Hardware and resource planning for application performance.
  • License management and monitoring usage compliance.

Process Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Experience with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release management).
  • Vendor management and escalation coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills for end-user support, training, and documentation.

Behavioral Skills

  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work across IT and business functions.

Qualification:

  • Somebody who has at least 5+ years of work experience in software development.
  • Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college
