Job Role:

As an SEO Intern at Inkling Marketing, you will work closely with the SEO team to support daily tasks, learn essential tools, and help improve website rankings and performance. This role is perfect for beginners who want hands-on experience in the digital marketing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, and SEMrush
• Assist in on-page SEO activities (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, internal linking)
• Perform off-page SEO tasks such as link building, directory submissions, and social bookmarking
• Optimize website content for SEO and user experience
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Help with SEO audits and prepare reports
• Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies
• Support the content team with SEO-friendly topic ideas
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (optional but preferred)
• Good English writing and communication skills
• Ability to research and learn quickly
• Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Undergraduate (any stream)
• No experience required; training will be provided
• Passion for digital marketing and SEO
