Job Description

SEO Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, visibility, and website traffic.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, Keyword ranking improvement across focus clusters, competitor analysis, Backlink quality, domain authority growth and content optimization.
  • Execute on-page SEO including meta tags (title, description, header) optimization, internal linking, schema markup, and site structure improvements.
  • Manage off-page SEO activities such as link-building, guest posting, and digital PR.
  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexation, and site performance issues.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all content initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Google Tag Manager or similar tools.
  • Understanding of E-E-A-T, content authority, and topical depth.
  • Experience optimizing for voice search and AI-driven engines (like Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
  • Familiarity with programmatic SEO and automation workflows.
  • Track keyword rankings, traffic trends, and conversions, and take actionable steps to enhance results.
  • Stay updated with latest search algorithm updates, AI-driven search trends, and emerging SEO tools.
  • Coordinate with developers and product teams to optimize website architecture and user experience for better SEO performance.
  • Create regular SEO reports and dashboards to communicate performance insights and growth opportunities.
  • Explore organic growth initiatives such as partnerships, influencer collaborations, and affiliate-driven SEO opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in

    SEO and organic marketing

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    SEO tools

    – Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Google Tag Manager etc.
  • Basic knowledge of

    HTML, CSS, and WordPress/CMS platforms

    .
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver measurable results.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital-first organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI engine optimization (AEO) and automation-driven SEO.
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager and Data Studio for SEO performance tracking.
