Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 

    on-page, off-page

    , and 

    technical SEO

     audits and optimizations to improve website health and search engine visibility.
  • Conduct 

    keyword research

     using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest to identify high-ROI opportunities.
  • Optimize 

    meta titles, descriptions, headers, URLs, and internal linking

     structures.
  • Collaborate with 

    content and design teams

     to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content creation and website design.
  • Create and execute 

    link-building strategies

     (guest posting, content outreach, PR, etc.) in compliance with Google’s webmaster guidelines.
  • Use tools like 

    Google Analytics, Google Search Console

    , and 

    SEMrush/Ahrefs

     to monitor website performance and generate insightful SEO reports.
  • Identify SEO trends and algorithm updates to adjust strategies in real time (e.g., helpful content updates, EEAT compliance, Core Web Vitals, etc.).
  • Implement structured data/schema markup to enhance 

    rich results

     and improve CTR.
  • Track and improve 

    Core Web Vitals

     and 

    page speed performance

     with tools like Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Ensure mobile-first indexing and 

    technical SEO hygiene

     (e.g., crawlability, indexability, canonical tags, redirect chains, etc.).
  • Support 

    local SEO

     strategies (Google Business Profile optimization, local citations) for location-based businesses.
  • Contribute to 

    AI-era content planning

    , ensuring balance between human creativity and machine efficiency.


Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.).
  • SEO troubleshooting.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
  • Up-to-date with 

    Google algorithm updates, AI in SEO

    , and voice search trends.
  • Understanding of 

    content marketing, UX

    , and 

    conversion optimization

    .


Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
