Senior Video Editor

The primary purpose of your role will be to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing efforts. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for manipulating and editing film pieces to create seamless and engaging content for the audience. Your duties will involve understanding the production team's needs, reviewing shooting scripts and raw materials, and creating shot decision lists based on scenes" value and continuity. You will be required to trim footage segments, assemble the sequence of the film, and incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to produce rough and final cuts. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running of the film will be crucial. Collaboration with stakeholders throughout the production to post-production process is essential. Additionally, you should stay updated on new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate should have proven work experience as a Video Editor and proficiency in digital technology and editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut. A strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and a thorough understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity are required. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing, along with creative storytelling abilities, is essential. Qualifications include a Graduation/Post Graduation degree, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. Confidence, teamwork, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
