Senior UC Engineering Consultant

Role Overview: As a Senior UC Engineering Consultant at Miratech, your primary role will be to provide architectural and infrastructure support to the management and infrastructure team. You will be responsible for owning the design, development, delivery, and experience of Unified Communications System platforms. Working closely with the IT team and business partners, you will ensure consistently excellent user experiences and technology experiences for staff, members, and the community. Key Responsibilities: - Work with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical staff on the implementation, optimization, and security of the Cisco Unified Communications system, troubleshooting infrastructure and services. - Perform maintenance/upgrades on all Infrastructure and endpoints, analyzing new technologies, and providing support to the Video Infrastructure team lead. - Conduct security reviews of infrastructure and applications, research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes. - Document procedures and processes, develop and maintain user guides, technical guides, project plans, and system-related documentation. - Create help files for support teams, offer solutions for improving current technology, escalate issues to vendors, and provide metrics/reports for conferencing services. - Adhere to design, programming, and application standards set up by the company, including compliance with all firm and departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in Unified Communications, VoIP, and Collaboration tools, including Cisco products. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams, IPTV Streaming/Multicasting, Microsoft Server environments, Citrix VDI environment, MAC OSX, Windows environments, and MobileIron. - Strong knowledge of troubleshooting tools, Networking technologies, Firewall Traversal, VMware architecture, and monitoring tools. - Experience with Azure AD, SSO, and IAM security policies is nice to have, along with CCIE Collaboration or CCNP Collaboration certification. Nice to have: - Advanced Excel skills, Programming/Scripting experience, Rest API knowledge, Documentation and design skills, and Application packaging and deployment experience.
