Senior Tool Design Engineer

Nature of Work:

• Knowledge of Tool Design for product manufacturing, preferably Welding and Assembly Jigs
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes applicable to Sheet Metal
• Knowledge of Welding Processes and applicable Standards
• Knowledge of Mechanical Joining Processes and applicable Standards
• Knowledge of Surface Treatment Processes and applicable Standards
• Knowledge of Product Packaging for various modes of Transportation
• Knowledge of CAD software, preferably Solid Edge and AutoCAD
• Ability to lead Customer Communication effectively

Job Profile / Responsibility

• Responsible for status update to NPD In-charge
• Responsible for timely delivery of Engineering Deliverables for Tooling Development and Validation
• Lead a team of 5 to 6 members
• Responsible for implementation of tooling for new and existing products for process improvements
• Responsible for skill enhancement of subordinates in NPD team
• Managing and maintaining team discipline
• Responsible for defining packaging and transportation solutions for new products
• Responsible for defining internal and external movement equipment for new products
• Responsible for technical communication with CFT and Customer related to tooling

Total Experience required is 4 to 8 years

Qualification - Diploma / BE Mechanical / Indo German Tool Design Engineering
