Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Tester. The Senior Tester will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of software products. The role includes identifying and documenting bugs, collaborating with the development team, analyzing testing results, and improving the overall testing process. The Senior Tester will also contribute to quality assurance strategies and frameworks to align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in manual and automated testing methodologies and writing comprehensive test cases
• Experience using various testing tools, performance testing tools, and debugging techniques
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in using issue tracking tools and test management systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with development teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment; self-motivated and organized
• Prior experience in the insurance sector or related industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
