Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Tester. The Tester will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of software applications by designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolutions. The role will also involve contributing to test strategies, preparing documentation, and ensuring all deliverables meet defined standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Manual Testing, Test Case Design, and automated testing tools.
• Ability to identify, document, and track software defects to closure.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience with testing software applications across various platforms and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with development teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in the insurance or financial domain and knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
