Job Description

Role: Senior Tester

Experience: 05 - 09 Years

Location: Chennai


About the Role

Manual Testing


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end

    manual testing

    across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
  • Write and execute complex

    SQL queries

    to validate data, perform backend testing, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain

    Selenium automation scripts

    for regression and sanity test suites.
  • Conduct

    ETL testing

    to validate data transformations, data loading, and data consistency across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and clarify test cases.
  • Participate actively in

    Agile ceremonies

    (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports using relevant tools.


Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    Manual Testing

    .
  • Solid proficiency in

    SQL

    for data validation and testing.
  • Moderate-level experience using

    Selenium WebDriver

    for test automation.
  • Moderate hands-on exposure to

    ETL Testing

    .
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good understanding of

    Agile Methodology

    .
