Senior Test Analyst

As a Senior Test Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the digital landscape and driving innovation. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Creating and executing automated test scripts, using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects early. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conducting root cause analysis for identified defects and working closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Participating in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality, and sharing knowledge within the team. Essential qualifications for this role include: - Hands-on experience with Avaloq Core Banking Product or any other core banking product - Exposure to Investment banking and Private Banking & Wealth Management - Proficiency in Software Testing, including Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, managing defects, and Test Reporting - Strong experience in Test Automation - Previous work with Agile Methodology Additionally, valued skills include: - Knowledge of Banking Regulations and experience in their implementation for banking software - Understanding of SQL with hands-on experience - Familiarity with JIRA and its usage from an Agile perspective - Proven experience in analyzing banking requirements and providing efficient testing solutions In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate technical expertise in your assigned area and lead a team, guiding and supporting professional development.
