Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external organizations to develop, plan, and create/edit technical documentation. Utilizing appropriate editorial methodologies and process management, you will ensure that the documentation is comprehensible to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge. A strong technical aptitude is essential to comprehend complex technologies, and domain knowledge in energy management and industrial automation is advantageous. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are also key requirements for this position. Responsibilities: - Research and analyze customers" documentation requirements, create document plans, and write and review technical documentation for multiple products. - Identify potential issues, provide work estimates for documentation projects, and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes in a dynamic environment. - Lead initiatives to enhance content quality and usability, contribute to strategy discussions, and validate feature content data rigorously. - Utilize DITA XML-based authoring tools effectively, demonstrate understanding of Agile and waterfall development methodologies, and adapt writing style to project needs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in any field. - 7 years of experience in an IT environment as a Technical Writer. - Strong editing and analytical skills, ability to collaborate with multiple teams, positive work ethic, and willingness to tackle challenges. - Proficiency in DITA, XML, Arbortext editor, Content Management Systems, MS Office 2007 Professional/Enterprise, and Agile/Scrum development. - Experience with Adobe Framemaker, graphics tools like Adobe Photoshop, and attention to detail.
