Senior - Technical Lead

Role and responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and define application requirements.
• Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
• Implement data integration and manipulation within APEX applications, utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, including debugging and performance optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle APEX development and application design.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with the database team to ensure proper data modeling and optimization for APEX applications.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and any other relevant documentation.
• Maintain and support existing APEX applications, including addressing bug fixes and implementing enhancements.
• Keep track of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Proven experience of 10+ years in designing and developing Oracle APEX applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database development and manipulation.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in Agile Scrum Methodology.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
• Prior experience in working on projects that involve integration with Oracle databases is a plus.
• Oracle APEX certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
