Overview of Role

The DGM - Technology will lead the technology infrastructure, software development, operations, and information security function, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable systems that support business objectives. This role requires a strategic leader with strong hands-on technical expertise in software development and infrastructure management who can troubleshoot complex issues, guide technical and development teams, manage critical infrastructure, and oversee the organization's information security posture to protect against cyber threats and ensure regulatory compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Required experience and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, or related field or Master's degree (M.Tech/MCA).
• 12-15 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, software development, operations, and information security.
• Minimum 5-7 years in a leadership role managing technical, development, and security teams.
• Hands-on software development experience using at least one or more technologies: PHP, Python, .NET, Java, or equivalent programming languages.
• Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms (MySQL, MS SQL Server) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
• Some experience in information security management, policy development, and compliance.
• Experience leading full-stack development teams and projects.
