Senior Technical Lead Cloud & Full Stack Engineering Chennai - Guindy, India Information Technology 16945 Overview Overview We are looking for Senior Technical Leads with 10 to 12 years of strong software engineering experience and a passion for experimentation and continuous learning. This role is ideal for technically curious leaders who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex engineering problems using modern cloud-native stacks. You'll be instrumental in designing scalable systems, mentoring engineers, and introducing innovative approaches across the engineering lifecycle. LocationChennai (Preferred)/Bangalore Immediate to 30 days joiners are preferred Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable API and microservices-based architectures. Drive cloud-native application delivery, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on best practices around security, scalability, and cost efficiency. Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, performing hands-on coding, code reviews, and architecture validations. Champion the use of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and automate deployment pipelines for robust CI/CD. Promote a culture of experimentation, encouraging the evaluation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and design patterns. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions. Guide and support prompt engineering and fine-tuning initiatives for LLM-based or GenAI-powered services. Bring a full-systems mindset to troubleshoot and optimise services across infrastructure, application, and user layers. Requirements Must-Have Skills & Exposure 1012 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a tech leadership role. Solid programming skills in Python and Java, with a deep understanding of backend service design. Strong exposure to cloud platforms GCP preferred, but AWS/Azure experience also valued. Proficiency in API development, microservices orchestration, and integration strategies. Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices for automated deployments. Exposure to prompt tuning / prompt engineering in the context of AI model integration. Excellent grasp of software architecture, system design, security, and performance tuning. Nice to Have Some exposure to frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js or ability to lead full-stack discussions. Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm). Familiarity with observability stacks logging, monitoring, alerting (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, GCP tools).
