Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BMC TrueSight Level 2 (L2) Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of BMC TrueSight infrastructure. They will work closely with the Level 1 support team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance of TrueSight solutions. Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 technical support for BMC TrueSight infrastructure, including but not limited to event management, performance management, and capacity optimization modules. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to TrueSight components, such as BMC Impact Manager, BMC Capacity Optimization, and BMC Event Adapters. Collaborate with Level 1 support team to escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring SLA compliance. Participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of TrueSight infrastructure components. Conduct regular health checks and performance tuning of TrueSight environment to ensure optimal functionality and resource utilization. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures for TrueSight solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest BMC TrueSight features, patches, and updates, and implement them as necessary to enhance system performance and security. Assist in testing and validation of TrueSight upgrades, patches, and new releases in development and staging environments prior to production deployment. Provide training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 support team and other stakeholders on TrueSight functionality, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices. Participate in on-call rotation schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and emergencies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering and supporting BMC TrueSight infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of BMC TrueSight components, including BMC ProactiveNet, BMC Impact Manager, BMC Capacity Optimization, and BMC Event Adapters. Proficiency in troubleshooting common technical issues related to BMC Truesight, including but not limited to installation, configuration, connectivity, and performance. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and monitoring concepts, including network, server, and application monitoring. Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of BMC TrueSight solutions in enterprise environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. BMC TrueSight certifications such as BMC Certified Professional - TrueSight Operations Management will be a plus. Knowledge about BMC Helix operation Management and its migration will be a plus.
