We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to lead the transformation of a legacy desktop application into a modern web platform . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, on-premises SQL Server, and ASP.NET , along with strong technical documentation skills . This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on development expertise, and leadership to guide the team through the transformation process. Key Responsibilities: System Architecture & Development: Design and implement a scalable, secure, and high-performance web-based system to replace the legacy desktop application. Analyze the existing legacy system to define transformation requirements and ensure a seamless migration. Utilize Microsoft technologies, on-premises SQL Server, and ASP.NET to build and maintain the new web platform. Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to the development team. Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to align technology solutions with business needs. Collaborate with cloud technology teams to explore potential integrations. Documentation & Process Optimization: Develop comprehensive system documentation , including architecture blueprints, technical processes, and code structures. Ensure that best practices for coding, security, and maintainability are followed throughout the project. Project Management & Implementation: Define transformation roadmaps , including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management . Optimize the performance, usability, and reliability of the new web-based platform. Required Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies , including ASP.NET, SQL Server (on-premises), and system documentation practices . Experience in legacy-to-web system transformation projects . Knowledge of cloud technologies and their integration with on-premises systems. Experience & Certifications: 8 to 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft technology stack . Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure, SQL Server, .NET, etc.) are a plus. Experience in project management methodologies and tools . Leadership & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a collaborative, innovative environment . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with a track record of delivering scalable solutions . Excellent communication and documentation skills .
