Job Purpose:
Bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving the analysis, design, and implementation of our complex FinTech products. A proactive individual who can understand intricate financial processes, translate them into detailed technical requirements, and support development teams through the entire software development lifecycle.
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of progressive experience as a Technical Analyst, System Analyst, or Business Analyst with a strong technical emphasis, specifically in the software development domain.
- 4+ years of direct experience working within the FinTech or Financial Services industry in India (e.g., Banks, NBFCs, Payment Companies, Brokerages, Insurance Tech).
- Proven experience in eliciting, analysing, and documenting complex technical and functional requirements for software applications.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience with SQL for data analysis and querying databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
- Basic understanding of at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .NET/C#) to comprehend technical discussions and code structure.
- Hands-on experience with API specifications (REST, SOAP) and understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:
- Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders, product managers, and end-users to understand, elicit, and document complex business requirements for new features, enhancements, and products within the FinTech domain.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and potential technical challenges.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, unambiguous, and testable functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather comprehensive information.

- Work closely with architects and development teams (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, etc., depending on your stack) to technically analyse requirements and define viable, scalable, and robust technical solutions.
- Create detailed technical specification documents, data flow diagrams, system diagrams, and sequence diagrams to illustrate system behaviour and integration points.
- Identify and define APIs, data structures, and integration patterns required for seamless system interoperability.
- Propose technical approaches and solutions that align with architectural guidelines, performance, security (especially critical in FinTech), and scalability requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical insights to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.

- Apply deep knowledge of core FinTech concepts and processes, such as: Payment Gateways, Core Banking Systems, Digital Wallets, Lending Platform, Financial Data Analytics, KYC/AML Compliance, Fraud Detection, Remittances for finance, Capital Markets, etc.
- Understand regulatory requirements and compliance standards pertinent to the Indian financial market (e.g., RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations) and incorporate them into technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape within the global and Indian FinTech sector.

- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support development teams during implementation by clarifying requirements and resolving technical queries.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, develop test cases, and validate that implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide technical support during production deployments.
- Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and work with development teams for timely resolution.
