Senior Tax Consultant

As a Senior Tax Consultant - Tax Reporting at Booking Holdings, you will be a key member of the BHI Center of Excellence in Bangalore, responsible for managing global tax reporting requirements and ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax data to authorities worldwide. Your role will involve developing and maintaining efficient data processes, responding to tax data requests and regulatory inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of tax data reporting solutions in systems and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Advise on global tax reporting requirements, interpreting complex regulations for direct and indirect taxes into practical requirements - Oversee the implementation of tax data reporting solutions in systems and tools - Lead accurate and timely submissions of tax return and other requested data to tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions, with a preference for experience in US Sales tax compliance - Respond to ad hoc tax data reporting requests and regulatory inquiries from various stakeholders - Ensure integrity and compliance of submitted tax data through reconciliations, quality checks, and process controls - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting processes and drive automation Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred - 3-5 years of experience in tax reporting, data analysis, or related roles - Strong understanding of global tax data reporting regulations and reporting requirements - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in data management tools and tax reporting software - Ability to translate complex tax requirements into clear technical specifications - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy About Booking Holdings: Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG) is the world's leading provider of online travel services, operating in more than 220 countries and territories through consumer-facing brands such as Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, and OpenTable.
