Educational Qualification

Masters in Marine Structures / Structural Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering

7-10 years of professional experience into:

• Design of maritime structures such as jetties, trestles, quay walls, breakwater etc.
• Design of bridge structures especially sub structures and foundations involving piers, pile caps, piles, caissons, well foundations, retaining walls etc.
• Design of infrastructure projects involving culverts, retaining walls, pavements etc.
• Design of industrial structures
• Experience in port planning will be preferred.
• Experience of working in consulting organization will be preferred.
• Exposure to IS, IRC, Euro, API and ACI design standards
• Proficiency in software like Staadpro, Autodesk Robot, SACS etc.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering engineering consultancy projects in ports, maritime and infrastructure sector
• Preparing designs and reviewing designs prepared by the team
• Leading design teams for conceptual design and detail design projects.
• Co-ordination with client and vendors for project execution
• Ensuring quality control on the design submissions
• Developing the engineering team and providing guidance to the team
• Attend meetings with clients and authorities
