Senior Structural Design Engineer

As a Senior Structural Design Engineer based in Kolkata, West Bengal, you will be an integral part of our dynamic design team, focusing on the structural analysis, design, and detailing of RCC and steel structures for various infrastructure and building projects. Key Responsibilities: - Perform structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other civil structures using relevant design codes such as IS, IRC, etc. - Strong experience in RCC building design, steel structures, and bridge projects. - Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical reports. - Review architectural and MEP drawings for structural coordination. - Ensure safety, economy, and code compliance in design. - Provide technical support during construction and resolve site-related structural issues. - Coordinate with architects, clients, and project managers for timely project delivery. - Supervise the preparation of detailed drawings and reinforcement schedules. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university or institution. - Experience: 7-10 years (Strong structural design experience may also apply). - Software Proficiency: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit or Midas Structure will be an added advantage. - Strong understanding of IS codes and design standards. - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
