Senior Staff Physical Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various digital/analog/RF/optical systems. Your role will involve working on cutting-edge technologies to launch world-class products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance requirements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to PNR implementation for Qualcomm SoC's, with a focus on Floorplanning, PNR, and STA flows. Key Responsibilities: - Take complete ownership of PNR implementation, including Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, and post_route activities on the latest nodes - Demonstrate signoff knowledge in areas such as STA, Power analysis, FV, and low power verification - Be a quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Utilize hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Perl, TCL fundamentals, and scripting - Have a good understanding of placement/clock tree synthesis (CTS), optimization, and signoff domains such as LEC/CLP/PDN Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years OR PhD with 4+ years - Minimum of 12 years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience - Proficiency in PNR flow in the latest tech nodes (e.g., 4nm/5nm/7nm/10nm) Kindly note that Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
