Senior Staff Accountant

As a Senior Staff Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in the Finance and Accounting Department by ensuring accurate and timely completion of reports. Your support to the Controller and other team members is essential for the department's overall success. **Key Responsibilities/ Duties:** - Perform and review journal entries during month/quarter-end close cycles. - Prepare general ledger reconciliations and GL account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Summarize financial status by preparing balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports. - Participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes. - Develop, document, and maintain business processes and procedures with strong internal controls. - Research technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP. - Maintain operational and accounting financial standards. - Implement Percentage of Completion Accounting (POC). **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Behaviors:** - Strong problem-solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables. - Familiarity with computer-based accounting systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high transaction environment. - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. **Education/ Experience:** - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. - 6-8 years of relevant accounting experience. - Working knowledge of NetSuite.
