Job Description

As a Senior Specialist in Design & Planning within the Corporate Real Estate & Service department, your primary role is to lead the design function for bank projects efficiently and effectively. This includes creating drawings, managing project budgets, forecasts, resources, tasks, schedules, risks, communications, and ensuring delivery aligns with established standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the approval of drawings and promote best-in-class project management practices. Your responsibilities will involve establishing and leading a design team, coordinating project staff, providing leadership, vision, coaching, and guidance. You will be responsible for detailed architectural design and documentation of branch and office interior projects, ensuring project objectives and outcomes are met, and liaising with various stakeholders including business units and contractors. Compliance with the design manual, budget preparation, and maintenance of Management Information System (MIS) for infrastructure projects will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you will oversee the creation and maintenance of baseline project documents, manage task execution by assigned individuals, act as an internal quality control check, and understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business requirements. Your role will involve defining Statements of Work and Specifications, conducting trainings and workshops, steering stakeholder meetings, and communicating project status, issues, and risks effectively. You will be responsible for formulating strategies to enhance productivity, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution, generating reports based on project goals and metrics, and sharing best-practice knowledge within the team. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to leverage in-house synergies and keep abreast of global market trends and competitor strategies are also key aspects of your role. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will guide and train team members, monitor productivity, hiring quality, and costs, and ensure adherence to established benchmarks and processes in commercial finalizations. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Commerce, Science, Arts, Business & Insurance, Management Studies, or Architecture, with a preference for a post-graduate degree in MBA or PGDM. A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.,
