Senior SOX Analyst

As a Senior SOX Analyst at TriNet, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's internal control over financial reporting framework. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing periodic top-down, risk-based assessments to identify and quantify evolving business and IT risks under the direction of SOX Leadership - Partnering with control and process owners to assist in designing and implementing new controls and enhancing existing controls to strengthen internal control over financial reporting - Collaborating cross-functionally to understand business processes and maintain appropriate process documentation - Reviewing and updating the company's risk and control matrix and internal control documentation - Acting as a resource on internal control matters and serving as a point of contact for auditors - Working with IT/Technology owners to understand risks associated with IT applications and providing IT General Control recommendations Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required - Work Experience: 5+ years of progressive work experience in corporate accounting with prior experience in internal controls over financial reporting is required. 2+ years of progressive work experience in public accounting audit and assurance services is preferred - Licenses and Certifications: CPA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent is preferred You should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Ability to acquire new skills and apply them in complex environments - Solid understanding of SOX 404 and 302, SOC 1, COSO, and various risk assessment practices - Ability to work independently with limited direction - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members - Technology Knowledge: Oracle is preferred - Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills - Strong analysis, control design, and project management skills - Experience in process re-engineering is a plus - Ability to exercise good judgment and make clear decisions on project issues The work environment for this position is 100% in office, providing a clean, pleasant, and comfortable setting.
